Coping with Divorce — Seminar Begins Soon!

This seminar is a speaker series and peer support group for people who are divorced, anticipating divorce, widowed, or experiencing the separation of a long-term relationship. The next series begins January 24; see Coping with Divorce in Kalamazoo for more information.

Populations

Adults, women, men, adolescents, children (5-12), preschool children (over the age of 3), families, gays/lesbians.

Specialty Areas

Individual therapy, group therapy, play therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and DNMS (Developmental Needs Meeting Strategy).

Divorce recovery and life transition issues, parenting, step-family concerns, grief, anxiety, depression, anger, compulsive behaviors, trauma, physical/emotional/sexual abuse recovery, and personal growth.

In professional practice since 1998.

Professional Interests/Specialties

I codirect the Coping with Divorce seminar, a speaker series and support group for persons who are facing divorce or the loss of a significant relationship. Helping parents support their children as they go through this life transition is one of my main goals.

I also do public speaking and have presented for the Coping with Divorce group and a variety of other groups on issues related to parenting and personal growth.
